Congratulations to Professor Suporn Treepongkaruna on her appointment as President of FISPGHAN for the 2024–2028 term and to Professor Jennifer Lightdale as Secretary-Treasurer.

During the 7th World Congress of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (WCPGHAN) in Buenos Aires, Argentina (December 4–7, 2024), Professor Marina Orsi, the immediate past president of FISPGHAN, formally announced their appointments.

Professor Treepongkaruna has been actively engaged in pediatric gastroenterology, contributing to international collaboration and education. She has previously served as President of the Asia Pacific Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (APSPGHAN) and Secretary-Treasurer of FISPGHAN.

In her inaugural address, Professor Treepongkaruna outlined her vision for the organization, emphasizing research collaboration, advancements in clinical practice, global health initiatives, and the success of the next WCPGHAN.

Under this new leadership, FISPGHAN will continue its effort to advance pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition worldwide, fostering collaboration and innovation in the field
